Our preschool aims to deliver individualised learning, development and care, giving all our children the best possible start in life.
Hillside Pre-school is a registered charty (No: 1019979). We have a history that goes back to 1978.
Leadership at Hillside has a combined experience of over 40 years and we are a member of the Preschool Learning Alliance. We are an independent charitable business that receives advice, guidance and access to subsidised training via Bristol City Education and other government supported bodies.
We are managed by a management committee and parents committee and receive our income via the Government Grant Scheme, fee paying parents and fundraising.
We can use the school playing fields for our activities. We also encourage people from the community to visit and enrich the children’s knowledge and understanding of the world, for example lollipop people, police constables and fire fighters.
